We Do Salvage

Known simply as CLI, this outfit is run by Afgncaap5 and Garius Lupus, well-known researchers on H2G2. The two met because of a common love for Zork, and somehow became enmeshed in many of the more surreal events that define H2G2's history.

It all began when a UFO crashed near Joanna's Donut Stall, quite near the Waterworks and Beach. The two entrepeneurs immediately commenced salvaging the parts, and built themselves a workshop on the lip of the crater. Experiments and adventures abounded: their needs grew. The workshop grew out and down. A fleet of bots was built for work detail and security (they have those kinds of adventures).

Third in command at CLI is Ampton, a rather unique bot with little or nothing to say, but with plenty of company loyalty and and interesting range of talents. He's purple, about 4 foot tall, has a boombox-shaped head and still likes to breakdance.

When H2G2 celebrated its first anniversary with a parade in 2000, CLI was there to ride shotgun.
